3 Killed In Area Accidents

Three people were killed in accidents last Saturday and Monday in Garvin and Pontotoc Counties, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, a two-vehicle crash in Garvin County took the live of Rebecca Odell, 67, Pauls Valley, and critically injured the driver of the other vehicle, David B. Allred, 77, Paoli, troopers reported. Allred later died on Tuesday, troopers reported.

On Monday, Oct. 12, a 32-year- old Shawnee woman, Katherine Hall, was killed in a collision in the city limits of Byng in Pontotoc County, according to the patrol.

The Garvin County accident occurred about 8:33 p.m. near on U.S. 77 near Kinberlin Rd., about one-fourth of a mile north of Pauls Valley, troopers said.
