Commissioners Open 6-Month Bids

The Board of Murray County Commissioners opened six months bids and approved several house keeping measures in their regular weekly meeting Monday.

Six months bids for BOMAG, road oil, asphalt, rocks and rock hailing were all accepted and will be awarded at a later date.

Two bids were received for the BOMAG. Overland Co., of Ardmore, bid $11,400.00 per mile while Pavers of Davis submitted a bid of $3,750.00 per mile.

Four bids were received for rock. The following companies submitted bids: Hanson Aggregates, Martin Marietta and Dolese Co., all of Davis, and Vulcan, from Mill Creek.

Chris Foster Trucking and C&C of Davis submitted bids on rock hauling.

Road oil bids were received from Vance Bros., of Tulsa, Ergon, of Ardmore and Asphalt Fuel and Supply, of Tulsa.
