Council Okays Demolition Of Three Properties
Sulphur City Council members on Monday approved and awarded a contract for the demolition of three dilapidated properties within the city.
Floyd Carroll, owner of a home declared as a dilapidated residence at 1408 West Durant, was on hand to plea with council members for more time to upgrade his property. Blalock told council members he has been working on this particular property owner since January 2012 and no improvements have been made and the property poses a danger to anyone who might enter it.
