County Courthouse To Remain Closed Due To Pandemic
The Murray County Courthouse will remained closed to walk-in visitors. The Board of County Commissioners approved the measure at the regular weekly meeting on Monday.
The board has been reviewing the decision on a week to week basis amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Although reports show Murray County with 29 total cases since March with all but two having recovered, visitors to the Murray County Courthouse will have to call the office they are needing and office personnel will meet with the visitors at the front door of the courthouse.
In other board action, REAP Grant applications and resolutions for all three commissioners districts were approved.
