Gov. Anoatubby Given A New Term

Legislative Races Develop In Two Chickasaw Nation Districts

Chickasaw Nation Gov. Bill Anoatubby was given a new fouryear term of office as head of the 68,000-member tribe and it will be a special one for the 73-yearold who has been governor since 1987.

Anoatubby won re-election last week after filing unopposed and will serve alongside his oldest son, Chris, who filed unopposed for lieutenant governor.
