Hospital Wins Prestigious Honor, Five-Star Rating
Arbuckle Memorial Hospital won a prestigious Silver Award for quality improvement, then found out they were given a fivestar rating by Medicare for their caring of patients.
The Silver Award came from TMF Quality Institute that looked at over 700 hospitals in a fourstate region, including Arkansas, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma. Only 51 of those hospitals earned a Gold Award with 50 getting the Silver Award, according to TMF officials. Another 51 won Bronze Awards.
“We are honored to be recognized by the TMF Quality Institute for both reporting quality measures and improving patient outcomes as reflected by these data,” said Jeremy Jones, Arbuckle hospital administrator, “but the benefit to our patients is the true reward.”
