New Council Sworn In During Monday Meeting

Sulphur City Attorney Phil Hurst administered the Oath of Office to two of the three council members at the regular monthly meeting Monday night.

The oath was administered to Dan Gordon, Ward 5, replacing Robert Clark, who did not seek re-election and Derrick Priddy, Ward 1, who ran unopposed. Ward 3 Councilman Brandon Flowers, who defeated Rogelio Trevino, in an election last week, was absent from the meeting and will be sworn in at the next meeting.
