School Bond Bids Come In Under Budget
Construction Manager Larry Sloan, of RFD Construction, and Bobbie McDonald, of Corner Greer and Associates, had good news for Sulphur School Board members at their regular meeting Monday night.
Sloan told members “the number’s came in well.”
He was referring to bids for the $1.8 million bond issue which came in about $450,000 less than originally estimated. The bids were opened on August 29 at the RFD headquarters and the final bid total was $1,370,007.00.
