Testing Materials In High Demand At AMH, Official Says

Arbuckle Memorial Hospital administrator Jeremy Jones said Tuesday that COVID-19 testing materials are in high demand and difficult to obtain, but the hospital was notified this week of a new swab test, but it may take a few days in arriving.

Currently, there are no known COVID-19 cases in Murray County, according to Jones with two tests pending.

Mendy Spohn, Regional Director for Murray County Health Department, issued a statement that a new testing site in Ardmore may be available by the end of this week.

Jones encourages everyone in this area to follow the governor’s order of “safer at home” and social distancing until the pandemic wains.
