Three Arrested In Drug Stop

Deputies Confiscated Meth, Cash, Drug Paraphernalia

Three people were arrested on March 12 after a routine traffic stop, north of Sulphur, on U.S. 177, according to Murray County Sheriff Office report.

According to the report, the driver of the vehicle, Tyrone Reece, 27, Maysville and passengers Johnnie Satterfield, 41, Wynnewood and Jamie Rae Page, 36, Maysville, were taken into custody for trafficking in methamphetamine.

The report indicted that Murray County deputy Brandon Eddy and undersheriff Jay McClure conducted the traffic stop and that Eddy deployed his K-9 for an open-air sniff of the vehicle. After the dog alerted on the vhicle, deputies conducted a search and found plastic bags with a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, the report said.
