Voters Eye Array Of Issues, Candidates In June 30 Primary

Sen. Inhofe, Rep. Cole Facing Primary Challenges;Voters To Decide On Medicaid Funds, City Lodging Tax In Tuesday Vote

Murray County voters will have plenty of decisions to make as they head to the polls for next Tuesday’s Primary Election.

Among the many items on the somewhat lengthy primary ballot include the Democratic and Republican choices for a U.S. Senator and U.S. Representative and a Republican pick for the state corporation commissioner.

Voters will also be asked to decide on whether or not the state should accept expanded Medicaid funds in the form of State Question 802, one of the most hotly debated topics that has bled through the constant news surrounding COVID-19.

Locally, Sulphur and Davis voters will also decide the fate of separate lodging tax proposals and there are a few county voters who will decide on a member of the Mill Creek School Board.

It will all be decided after the polls close at 7:00 p.m. next Tuesday in the state’s primary election.
