When It Rains, It Pours
The Sulphur area was soaked with over three inches of rain last Thursday after severe thunderstorms moved in during the morning and continued for several hours, flooding streets and low lying areas of the town. There were no serious problems, but city crews had to close several streets during the high water event. Rock Creek in Chickasaw National Recreation Area near Lincoln Bridge, above, was roaring after the cloudburst.
