Murray County voters last Tuesday put their stamp of approval on a 10-year extension of a one-cent sales tax that helps fund 22 entities and organizations.
Following a very short, seven-minute, executive session, Sulphur City Council members reconvened and approved the re-employment of City Manager Andy Freeman.
Sulphur firefighters responded to a structure fire on Friday, May 7 at approximately 2:00 p.m. at 1212 West Wyandotte. The area is one-half block south of Broadway in an alleyway just of of West 12th Street in Sulphur.
These Sulphur High School students will graduate with academic honors when commencement exercises get underway at at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14 at Agee Field.
