Meredith Willson’s musical “The Music Man” was performed by the Sulphur Vocal Department this last weekend. The show was under the direction of Mrs. Paula Scott and assisted by Mrs. Jennie Baker. The cast and crew included students from 1st – 12th grade along with a few teachers and community member.

3rd COVID Vaccine Approved; Will Be Available Soon

At the end of February, the Food and Drug Administration issued an Emergency Use Authorization for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. This vaccine follows two earlier vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna pharmaceutical companies that are now being administered in the U.S. according to a report released earlier this month by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Sulphur Vocal Department To Present “The Music Man”

Based on composer Meredith Willson’s 1957 Broadway hit and adapted into a 1962 Tony award-winning film, “The Music Man” will be presented by the Sulphur High School Vocal Music Department on March 26, March 27 and March 28. The performances March 26-27 will be at 7:00 p.m. and the Sunday, March 28 performance is set at 2:00 p.m, all at the auditorium.
