Masons Donate To Murray County Boy Scouts

On September 28, the Sulphur Masonic Lodge held a fundraiser for the Murray County Boy Scouts. At their bi-monthly meeting Gary Prather, the Masonic chaplain, second from right, presented a check totaling $4,000 to the Murray County Boy Scouts. The presentation was made on October 5, 2023. Several members of the Boy Scouts and their leaders are also pictured in the ceremonial event.

SHS Class Of 1989 Meets For 35th Anniversary

Members of the Sulphur High School Class of ‘89 convened last week in Sulphur to celebrate their 35-year milestone.
The group met for a luncheon on Friday, Oct. 6 before riding in the annual homecoming parade. Friday night was enjoyed at the football game.
On Saturday evening, class member Jason Borders hosted the group at his residence for food and fellowship. Borders noted they were “all in bed by 10:00 p.m.
