Local Lawmen Assist In Drug Bust

Starting in January of 2022, the Murray County Sheriff’s Office joined with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics to identify and arrest local drug dealers. Over the yearlong investigation, several undercover purchases of methamphetamine were completed here in Murray County, according to Murray County Undersheriff Ben Flowers.

Two Dead In 7-Vehicle, I-35 Crash

Two people died last Wednesday in a seven-vehicle crash on I-35 near the 58-mile marker in Garvin County, officials said. Several trucks and a Honda Accord are shown above in the wreckage which closed northbound lanes of I-35 for nearly nine hours. Troopers said the trucker driving the rig at right struck six other vehicles which were stopped in a construction zone.
