Two people, including a Sulphur man, were injured in a crash on I-35 in Carter County last week, and a Lindsay teen was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Garvin County on Sunday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Friday, October 14, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the November 8 General Election, Murray County Election Board Secretary Tommie Grimes said today.
The second annual Career Fair for Sulphur High School students was held last Wednesday. Coordinator of the event, Lana Campbell , FACS teacher, said “My main goal with the career fair is to expose students to various careers in and around Murray County that will hopefully encourage students to come back to Sulphur after they graduate to live and raise their families. I also hope that it will make students start thinking about and forming a plan for what they want to do after high school.”
