Council OKs Participation In Grant Program For Portman Park Facilities

Members of the Sulphur City Council met in a special meeting last Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. to discuss and ultimately approved a resolution authorizing the application for a Oklahoma Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant to assist with funding to construct pickle ball court, a playground and a walking/bicycle trail area in Portman Park. The special meeting was necessary because the grant application had to be in by 5:00 p.m. last Friday.
