The family of Clifford Johnson would like to thank everyone for the phone calls, flowers, etc. during this trying time. Also a big thank you to Bill Leveridge and Crossway Church for the wonderful meal and service. Also a big thank you to Hales Funeral Home for being there for my family. We also want to thank the Sulphur Fire Department for their support during this time. Thank you to everyone for their condolences, flowers and cards. The Family of Clifford Johnson

Helping Hand OHCE Club Holds September 13 Meeting

The Helping Hand OHCE met Tuesday September 13th, at the Central Baptist Church with Jo Kirby serving as hostess. Members present were Betty Stephens, Marilyn Bearden, Paula Reese, Frances Atkins, Anni Wudi, Janis Warren, Cherlyn Brown, and Jo Kirby. Marilyn Bearden presented a devotion from 1st John 4:4. The creed was read by Janis Warren, and the flag salute was led by Paula Reese. The group briefly discussed the fair. Total entries for the group were 27. A lot of these entries were blue ribbon winners.

Murray County 4-H Sheep And Goat Club Meets On September 12

The first meeting of the 202223 year for the 4-H sheep and goat club was held on September 12, 2022 at the Expo Center. The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m. by Braylee Lewis. New member Brooklyn Gordon was introduced. Colton Riegel called roll. There were 3 members and 2 leaders present. Colton led the group in the flag salute and the 4-H ritual. Minutes were read by Colton. Brooklyn Gordon made a motion to accept the minutes and it was seconded by Joy Lynch. Minutes were approved.
