These Sulphur High School seniors will graduate with honors this Friday, May 13 during the school’s annual commencement exercises. A woman was arrested last week after allegedly shooting into and ramming a stolen vehicle into the residence of her ex-husband, according to the Murray County Sheriff’s Office.
U.S. Senator James Lankford (R-Oklahoma City), left, talks to a group at the Table, a downtown Sulphur eatery, last Friday during a campaign stop in this area. Following this talk, Lankford visited with a group who gathered at the Sulphur Chamber of Commerce. A member of the U.S. Senate since 2014, Lankford is facing opposition in his re-election bid from two Republicans, six Democrats and one Libertarian. The primary election is set for June 28.
The Sulphur school district is another step closer in making the recently passed bond issue a reality.
