Buckhorn Campground Temporarily Closed For Sewer Upgrade

Sulphur, Okla.– Buckhorn Campground and dump station at Chickasaw National Recreation Area will be closed from January 6, 2022 to March 1, 2022 while the sewer system is upgraded. Park visitors may continue to camp at either Rock Creek Campground or the Point Campground. Rock Creek Campground is located adjacent to the historic Platt District. Campsites at Rock Creek are first come, first served and are all non-electrical. The Point Campground, located by the Lake of the Arbuckles, has some campsites with electricity and water hookups that can accommodate recreational vehicles. Oklahoma City – Renee Sansom Briscoe, a native of Davis, earned the annual performance award presented by the Oklahoma Commission for Rehabilitation Services on December 13.
