Sulphur Man Facing Charges After Assaults On Police Chief, Officer
A Sulphur man is facing three counts of assault and battery on a police officer after a trespassing complaint turned violent at an East Tahlequah Street home on Friday, June 22, officials said.
According to a probable cause affidavit, backup officers were called to the residence when 57-year-old Douglas E. Junior Henry had allegedly shoved Sulphur Police Chief David Shores, who was checking on a trespassing complaint filed by a neighbor.
