School Board Deals With Busy Agenda
On the heels of a school board meeting on June 28, the board met at a regular meeting Monday, July 2 to address new school year issues and other items in a long agenda. The previous Thursday night meeting dealt mostly with housekeeping items that closed the previous school year.
The nearly two-hour Monday night meeting dealt with 30 agenda items ranging from housekeeping tasks to a financial discussion about the new athletic facility. High School Principal Clete Cole told the board the facility is on the way to being fully funded entirely by private donations.
