McCall Seeks Solution For Train Stoppages In Davis
There aren’t many situations more frustrating for drivers than ending up stuck at a railroad crossing waiting on a train that has come to a complete stop. This has become all too common in my legislative district and throughout the state. In fact, many of the calls I receive from my constituents come from those who have sat at rail crossings behind stopped trains for extended lengths of time – some for as long as 90 minutes.
This issue was once a major point of concern in Davis, and it has recently become a problem again.
