Adelia Elaine Robinson

Funeral services for Adelia Elaine Robinson, 84, Davis, will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 13, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.

Adelia, known by all as Elaine, was born January 24, 1938, in Newton, KS, to the late Paul P. and Debbie Adelia (Wall) Sager. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, on Sunday, July 10, 2022, in Davis.

Elaine moved from the Jessie/ Stonewall areas to Davis, in 1952. Following her 1956 graduation from Davis High School, she married Kenneth Garrison. From this marriage were born two children, James and Teresa. Later, on August 4, 1985, Elaine and D.L. “Robbie” Robinson were united in marriage. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Elaine spent her working career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, working 17 years at the Burford Manor Nursing Home in Davis, and the final 15 years at the Sulphur Veterans Center. She was a very devoted member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Davis for many years.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, James Garrison and wife, Selena; daughter, Teresa Bolding and husband, Michael, both of Davis; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sister in law, Dolores Sager.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas R. Sager; two sisters, Betty Kuzma, and Pauline Sherrell; grandson, Mitchell Garrison; great-granddaughter, Camille Garrison; nieces, Debbie Henderson, Jennifer Henderson, and Dixie Kuzma; and nephew, Jerry Kuzma.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Garrison, Tyler Williams, Brylon Moore, Tyler Bolding, Mike Bolding and Cliff Lanoy. Honorary bearers will be her grandsons, great-grandsons, and Philip Cagle.

Services are under the direction of Hale’s Funeral Home of Davis.
