Iwana Hill Crowe

Iwana Hill Crowe

On October 20th, we lost our beloved Aunt Iwana Hill Crowe to heaven. Iwana was born January 26, 1937 in Wewoka to William and Minerva Hill who preceded her in death as well as her only sibling, her sister Nakita Hill Lance.

Iwana came to Sulphur in 1948 and was a loved and respected member of the community until her death. A celebration of her life was enjoyed here at her home on October 24th by many long time friends and family who shared cherished memories and stories of her well lived life.

Iwana is survived by her two nieces, Danna Kay Stevens Bernardi of Tampa, FL and Sondra Lance Moses of Sulphur; her nephews, Sonny Lance Jr. and wife, Wanda of Elmore City and Kevin Lance and wife, Shawna of Piedmont; great nephews and nieces include Ryan and Chris Bernardi of Tampa, FL, Chase Gaultney, Norman, and Summer and Mitchell Lance, all of Piedmont, and great niece, Bowynn Wyatt of Piedmont.

In lieu of flowers, Iwana’s wish was to support The City Rescue Mission, 800 W. California Ave., OKC 73102 in her memory.

Our family thanks all her many friends who have offered, food, drink and wonderful memories of our beloved Auntie.
