Jake Saunders

Services for Jake Saunders, of Sulphur, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at Midway Hill Baptist Church with by Rev Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Dougherty Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home.

Jake was born November 26, 1976 in Ardmore, to Richard (Butch) and Cindy Saunders. He passed away Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 44 years, 10 months and 6 days.

Jake had lived most of his life in the Ardmore and Sulphur areas; graduating from Sulphur High School. He had worked at several different jobs in this area.

He was preceded in death by his father, Butch Saunders, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Renea Saunders, Davis; his mother and her husband, Cindy and D.L. Greenlee, Sulphur; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Jeri Dawn Saunders, Sulphur; and sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and Jimmie Brown, Sulphur.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Barger, Jay McClure, Bradley Vandagriff, Derek Whiten, Jimmie Brown, and Steve Saunders.
