James Warren Williams

Graveside services for James Warren Williams, of Sulphur, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, at Dolberg Cemetery officiated by Chaplain Jim Beckett. Burial will be at Dolberg Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur. James was born April 20, 1936 in Buckhorn, Oklahoma to Roscoe “Rocky” and Vessie (Runyan) Williams. He passed away Wednesday, March 7, in Ada at the age of 81 years,10 months and 17 days. He married Norma (Ozbirn) Williams in Sulphur, on February 16, 1957. James had lived in this area most of his life, where he graduated from Sulphur High School. He had lived in several areas while doing construction work, returning to this area in 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Williams. Surviving are his wife, Norma Williams, of Sulphur; sons and daughters-in-law, James K. Williams and Bonnie, of Sulphur, Kenneth Williams and Brenda, of Fittstown and Dr. Randy Williams and Melody, of Sulphur and Mike Williams and Donna, of Latta; one brother, Larry Williams, of Grandbury, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
