Linda Cristine Martinez

Linda Cristine Martinez was born November 6, 1948, in Los Angelas, CA. She died Monday, September 20, 2021, in Sulphur, at the age of 72.

Linda grew up in New Mexico. After high school, she attended the University of Texas-El Paso, earning a bachelor’s degree. She spent several years working in social services, as well as for the Coca Cola Bottling Company and the City of El Paso. Linda had made her home in Sulphur for the past 25+ years, where she attended the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, making ceramic dolls, and doing various arts and crafts. Survivors include two sons,

Survivors include two sons, Devin Martinez and wife, Brittany of Duncan, and Caesar Martinez of Sulphur; two daughters, Monica Chumley and husband, Mike of Whitewright, TX, and Candace Martinez of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Albert Montes of California.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Albert Montes, Sr.; mother, Bernice Aldridge; and brother, Gilbert Saucedo.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sulphur.

Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Sulphur.
