Funeral services for Patsy J. Smith of Springer were held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at the Dougherty Baptist Church with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in the Dougherty Cemetery. Patsy was born December 19, 1933 in Byars to the late Roger and Catherine Cordilia (Allred) Giddens.
