Services for Patsy Ruth Gregory will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 9, at DeArman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joel Kircher officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur. Born October 21, 1935 in Meeker, to Willie James and Ruth Estelle (Howe) Standley, she passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Sulphur, at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 15 days. Patsy lived in Meeker until moving to Sulphur to attend Oklahoma School for the Deaf. She later worked at the school for 22 years as a houseparent. She and Billy Gregory were married on June 18, 1955 in Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Shirley Lindell. She is survived by her husband, Billy Gregory, of Sulphur; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Tommy Noble, of Norman; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sherrie Gregory, of Sulphur; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Joel Kircher,of Greenbriar, Ark.; six grandchildren and spouses, Cameron and Crystal Gregory, Brittany and Billy Barefield, James Robert and Krystal Gregory, Chasity Jackson, Jamie and Jeff Cook, and Billy Burns; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cameron Gregory, Billy Barefield, James Robert Gregory, and Patrick Kircher. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on February 8, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
