A Celebration of Ron’s life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9 at Crossway Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Leveridge offi ciating. Burial will be at Hickory Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home. A Military Service will be conducted by the Fort Sill Honors’ Team Ronald Earl Little, of Sulphur, was born June 17, 1934 in Hickory, Oklahoma to Hubert Leroy and Ina (Walters) Little. He passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, in Sulphur, at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 18 days. Ron married Freda Sue (Moore) Little in Sulphur on September 30, 1956. He grew up in Hickory where he graduated from High School. He then graduated from Cameron University and later from Oklahoma State University with a Degree in Animal Husbandry. Ron obtained his Masters Degree from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania with a MBA in Business Administration. He was a Viet Nam veteran serving in the U.S. Army, retiring in 1985 as a Colonel. He returned to Sulphur and began working at OSD in 1986 where he worked as business manager until he retired in April 1996. Ron raised Hereford cattle. He was a member of Crossway Baptist Church, Sulphur Rotary Club, Murray County Tractor Association, Sulphur Masonic Lodge #144, American Legion #148, and Ardmore MOAA. Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Billy Little, and a sister, Leta Little. He is survived by his wife, Freda S. Little, of Sulphur; daughter, Lisa Kay Brogdon, of Tulsa; son, Ronald Jon Little, of Corpus Christi, Texas; three grandchildren, Daniel Trae Brogdon, Braden Cole Little and Bali Anne Little. Pallbearers will be Benny McGill, Larry Hobbs, Royce Jones, Terry Dobson, and Glen Vandever. In lieu of fl owers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Crossway Baptist Church for an ROTC Student Scholarship. Family visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. at DeArman Funeral Home Onlinecondolences may be sent to
