Wanda (Maggie) Rose Thomasson

August 6, 1941 – June 20, 2019

Wanda was born on August 6, 1941 in Sulphur to Loyd and Modena Ridling and passed away on June 20 in Pauls Valley, with her children at her side.

She married Wayne Price in 1958. Soon after, they settled in Pauls Valley and opened Price’s Tire Service. Shortly after, they began their family of 5 children. Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne E Price, second husband, Billy Thomasson and her son, John Raymond Price.

Surviving family members include Julie Price Foster and husband,Terry, Linda Price, Kathalene Price Stewart and husband, Mike, and Kevin Price; her sister, Betty Ridling, of Sulphur and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

After suffering with bipolar disorder, depression and most recently Alzheimer’s, Wanda made the decision to donate her body to science for the further study of these diseases.

A luncheon is planned for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29 followed by a memorial at 12:30 p.m. at the Christian Life Church, 820 South Walnut in Pauls Valley with Dave Johnson officiating.
