Marion Edward “Ed” Parks

Marion Edward “Ed” Parks was born May 6, 1942 in Qulin, MO to the late Fred and Della (Ward) Parks. He died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Norman, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 27 days. Ed and Patricia Ann “Pat” Reeves were married on October 1, 1977 in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Mia Lyn McKinney was born in Torrance, CA. She was the first daughter of William Eugene McKinney and Diane Ruth (Fuller) Davis and lived in Lakewood and Bellflower, CA for most of her pre-school years. She was an inquisitive and adventurous toddler, and she loved the water. From an early age, she was swimming (water safe) by the age of 9 months and water skied, as a preteen. The family enjoyed frequent camping trips with hiking and boating adventures. She also loved to play dress up, read books, and played many sports, including softball through elementary school and junior high. At Mayfair High School, in Lakewood, she set her sights on volleyball and drill team and excelled at both.

Graveside services for Norma Lou Lain, of Ardmore, will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021at Mill Creek Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home, of Sulphur.

DAVIS--Family will gather privately at the graveside of Leslie Sue Healey on February 12, 2021. Sue was born Leslie Sue Hill on July 23, 1935 to Patty Pearl (Thompson) Hill and Leslie Hezekiah Hill of Davis, OK. On December 27, 1955, she married Baren “Skip” Healey in Davis, OK. Known affectionately to most as “Granny Sue,” she passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021, in Davis, OK, at the age of 85.
