Funeral services for Jimmy “Jim” Nye, 82, of Sulphur, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursdy, Jan. 5, 2023, at the Memorial Freewill Baptist Church in Sulphur with Rev. Jacob Ford officiating. Mr. Nye passed away on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023.
Vaughan Dee McDowell, DVM, (Doc) age 66, of Rogers,AR, went to his heavenly home with family and friends on Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was born March 22, 1956, in Wellington, Texas the son of D’Arcy “Jim” and June Ann (Nix) McDowell. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Suzie Stacy, and his brother Michael McDowell, all of Sulphur.
Mary Lou Asbury passed away at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 10 days on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 in Sulphur. She was born on the February 19, 1933 in Afton, Oklahoma. She lived there until she graduated from Afton High School.
Brenda Kay Anderson, 64, Wynnewood, was born Dec. 17, 1958, in Lindsay. She died on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, in Dallas, TX. Brenda and Charles Ken Anderson were married on March 26, 1989, in Davis. This union was blessed with two children, Lea Marie and Jacob Ken.
