What is an emergency? If you google it, you find something like ‘sudden, urgent, usually unexpected occurrence requiring immediate action’. Or ‘need of help created by some unexpected event’. So it leads one to think, ‘How can I prepare for something unexpected?’ And the answer comes back, ‘YES THERE IS MUCH I CAN DO to lesson the impact of an emergency.
Say an unseasonal ice storm rolls in or its spring and tornado season is looming. What preparations can you make to reduce the anxiousness and fear…..how can you make preparations for EMERGENCY.
