Manufacturing has brought Oklahoma tremendous economic growth and stability throughout the years, and I’m proud to celebrate National Manufacturing Week alongside our small businesses, stakeholders, and state manufacturers. Sulphur, the county seat of Murray County, is situated at the intersection of U.S. Highway 177 and State Highway 7, eighty-four miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Be a part of the 101st Murray County Free Fair. Exhibit Hall entries are due Wednesday, September 6 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. These range from art and craft entries as well as cooking, canning, photography, and many hand made items from Murray County residents. Judging of exhibit hall items will be Thursday morning. Additionally, youth shooting sports events will be Thursday morning at 10. Poultry & Rabbit judging at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and barns will be open for all livestock entries Thursday at 3:00.
