Oklahoma Conservation Commission OKs Cost Share Program For Emergency Drought Relief

Oklahoma City – Today, Oct. 3, 2022, in their regular meeting, Commissioners of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission unanimously approved a program in which emergency drought cost-share funds are being made available to all 77 Oklahoma counties via distribution by local Conservation Districts.

Chickasaw Nation Encourages Donations In The Tribal Blood Drive Challenge

The second Tribal Blood Drive Challenge is underway in Oklahoma to assist with the statewide blood shortage. The Chickasaw Nation is collaborating with the Choctaw Nation, Muscogee Nation and the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) in a challenge to encourage their citizens, employees and communities to donate blood through Jan. 31, 2023.
