Dogs End Blanchard’s 39-Game Winning Streak In Monumental Win
It was quite the week for the Sulphur baseball team, as the program got one of the biggest regular season wins in school history.
Sulphur beat No. 1 and defending state champion Blanchard on the road last Tuesday 6-5, ending the Lions’ 39-game win streak.
It was a huge win for the Dogs and helped move them to 5-0 on the year.
Sulphur lost to Blanchard at home the next day 13-2.
The Dogs beat Howe, TX on Thursday 10-5 in the Madill/ Whitesboro Tournament to advance to the semifinals, but the rest of the tournament was canceled.
