Dogs Misfire In The Mud, Lose To Marlow
Sloppy conditions and a well-executed game plan proved too much to overcome last Friday night, as Marlow came into town and handed Sulphur its’s second straight loss 26-12.
The Outlaws took advantage of muddy and wet conditions and racked up 330 total yards in the win.
Sulphur (6-2, 3-2) scored early and late, but had trouble getting anything going offensively for most of the game.
“They outplayed us and we didn’t play well at all,” said Sulphur head coach Jim Dixon. “It’s pretty simple. They are a good ball club that is well coached and executed the other night. And we didn’t. We have to be much, much better if we want to get into the playoffs and on down the line.”
The Dogs started the game off just how you’d hope, holding Marlow and forcing a turnover on downs on the Outlaws’ first drive.
