Girl’s Faith Howe Sets School Record In Pole Vault

Boys Fourth, Girls Fifth In Plainview Meet

Both Sulphur track teams had great showings last weekend at the Lake Country Conference meet at Plainview.

The boys finished fourth and the girls came in fifth.

Faith Howe was the star of the day, as the freshman set the school record in the pole vault, jumping 10’1 and running away with first.

“She has been pretty good for us thus far,” said Sulphur head coach Terry Neal. “She has been inconsistent at times and had some no heights at some meets, but she has worked hard and put some good ones together last Saturday.”
