Girls Beat Davis For 3rd Time

Lady Bulldogs Prep For Big Games In Weeks Ahead

The Lady Dogs beat Davis for a third time this season last Tuesday, winning 5-2 over the Wolves in a big district game.

Sulphur moved to 14-4 on the season and has a big week ahead, with the district championship and hosting a regional on the line.

“It was a great win for us,” said Sulphur head coach Heath Gilbert. “The bottom of our order stepped up and got things going for us.”

Gilbert praised Paisley Runyan, Codi Reid, Amera Garner and Owen West for their approach at the plate offensively.

West was 2-for-3 at the dish and drove in two of the five runs in the win.
