Lady Bulldog pitcher Harley Beesley had a big week especially against Washington, pitching all seven innings and getting the win. She also slammed a two-run homer to give the local girls a 3-1 lead. She is shown above in the win over Pauls Valley.

Girls Get Two More Wins, Go To 22-3 For The Season

The Lady Dogs had another great week, going 2-0 and continuing to play good ball headed towards the playoffs.

Sulphur (22-3) won over Washington 4-2 last Tuesday and then beat Pauls Valley 11-5 on Thursday.

The Lady Dogs’ were scheduled to host Westmoore on Monday but the game was canceled due to a wet field.

Sulphur will plan on hosting Latta Tuesday and then begin play in the Lake Country Conference Tournament on Thursday, in which the Lady Dogs will be hosting.

“The conference is as tough as its’ ever been,” said Sulphur head coach Heath Gilbert. “It’s going to be like a state tournament.”
