Girls Remain Unbeaten In Win Over Byng; Boys Fall To 6-2 In Loss To No. 10 Pirates

Girls Continue To Roll In Fast Start To 2018-19 Season

Both Sulphur basketball teams were back in action last Saturday night, as the girls remained undefeated and the boys suffered a tough loss at Byng.

The teams were scheduled to play at Comanche last Friday, but the games were canceled due to inclement weather.

The No. 7 ranked Sulphur girls moved their record to 8-0 on Saturday, as they took care of business by winning 59-30.

Sulphur wasted no time getting out to a comfortable lead, as they led 17-8 after a quarter and 34-18 at halftime.

Payton James led the way for Sulphur with 13 points, including three first quarter 3-pointers.
