Girls Win 3rd In Tough Stonewall Tournament

In another crazy week for Sulphur softball, the wins kept coming, as Sulphur added five more victories to the tally and finished 3rd at the Stonewall Beast of the East Tournament.

Sulphur (13-5) is still ranked No. 5 in Class 5A after finishing last week 5-3. The Lady Dogs started this week off on the right foot, as well, beating No. 14 Lindsay on Monday night 13-5.

“We have been playing really well,” said Sulphur head coach Heath Gilbert. “We played very well in the Stonewall tournament, which was a really tough field, It was good to finish 3rd.”
