Sulphur Basketball Camp Attracts 42 Kids
There were 42 kids at the recently held Sulphur High School basketball camp. The camp represented first through fifth grade students. Sulphur head basketball coach Chase Todd said the camp was the biggest camp for that age range ever. “It was fun to see the kids competing and having a good time,” he said. “We tried some different things this year and I was very pleased with the camp. We tried to emphasize making layups, passing, and dribbling through competitive games.” Todd said the kids really seemed to like the new Sharks, Minnows, and Scarecrows game.
As always the camp concluded with a high school player taking a pie in the face from one of the campers. This year Acer Dixon was selected in the drawing and chose Dawson Muck.
