Sulphur will close out the regular season on Friday when they hoss Pauls Valley for senior night.

The dogs (7-2) won 35-0 over Douglass in a shortened game due to lighting going out, rebounding from two straight losses to Plainview and Marlow.

Sulphur is 4-2 in district play and with a win, will most likely be the 3rd seed from the district in the playoffs.

But they have to beat a good Pauls Valley team first, something the Panthers 2-7 record doesn’t reflect.

“They are about the best 2-7 team I‘ve ever seen,” said Sulphur head coach Jim Dixon. “They are talented and well coached and they will be a challenge for us.”

The Panthers two wins this season came over OCS back in September and against Douglass a few weeks ago.
