The Dogs broke out of the pin on a hot Monday afternoon to launch their first practice of the new season. On top, longtime head coach Jim Dixon, far left, watches as the team goes through drills. Above, in inset, team members work through other drills as they get ready for their first scrimmage next week. It will be at home on Aug. 20 vs. Lindsay in a 6:00 p.m. start at Agee Field. Sulphur will open the season on Friday, Aug. 28 in a tough encounter with old foe Tuttle on the Tigers’ home turf. Game-time is 7:00 p.m.
