State Rep To Hold Study On School Activities Group
OKLAHOMA CITY – Rep. Ty Burns, R-Pawnee, will hold an interim study this fall before the House Common Education Committee investigating the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA). A date for the study has not yet been set.
Sulphur’s Colt Williams (54) and Dan Townsend (34) leap high to harass Kingfisher kicker Marcos Ortega on this field goal attempt in the 2002 semifinal win that set the stage for the Bulldog’s shot the following week at their first state title. The failure of this field goal and a missed extra point earlier saved Sulphur from possible defeat by forcing the Yellowjackets to score a touchdown to win the game instead of kicking a field goal.
