It was quite the weekend for Sulphur wrestling, as the Dogs qualified a record five individuals for the state tournament and finished fourth as a team at the Class 3A West Regional at Kingfisher.
The Sulphur girls continued their strong play and won another district championship on Saturday night, as they rolled over Bridge Creek 60-30.
The Sulphur boys put a frustrating loss behind them from just two days earlier and cruised to a district championship on Saturday night at home, winning 62-49 over Bridge Creek.
